Forex balance in deficit in June

Brazil’s dollar inflow surpassed the outflow in USD 4.3 billion last month, according to the Brazilian Central Bank.

Brasília – The Brazilian Central Bank (BC) reported this Wednesday (5) on the data regarding the country’s dollar inflow and outflow in June. There was a deficit of USD 4.301 billion. The performance was impacted by the financial sector, which registered a deficit of USD 8.928, while the comercial sector had a surplus of USD 4.627 billion.

In the first half of the year, the foreign exchange balance registered a USD 7.478 surplus. The financial sector had a deficit of USD 24.051 billion, while the commercial sector registered a surplus of USD 31.529 billion.
