Demand is up for international flights

The search for flights abroad among Brazilian airlines increased 19% in July over the same month of last year, according to the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC).



Brasília – The demand for international flights among Brazilian airlines increased 19% in July over the same month of last year, according to data released this Wednesday (13) by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). It was the tenth consecutive month to register an increase and 813,000 passengers were carried in the month.

Among Brazilian airlines operating in the global market, Latam remained with the largest market share in July, of 73.5%, followed by Azul, with 12.6%, Gol, with 11.8%, and Avianca, with 2.1%.

Domestic demand for air transportation climbed 3.6% in July over the same month of last year, the fifth consecutive increase. In the month, 8.3 million passengers were carried in domestic flights.
